 Just what we needed January 20, 2009

This is a major university setting and we needed a secure means for locking up A/V equipment (laptop and LCD projector) for one of our conference rooms often used well after normal closing time.
Selecting the Sentry Safe X105 met our needs. The safe is large enough to handle a projo and laptop along with accessories. It can be unlocked and left that way so that the conference personnel can restore and secure the items they've checked out without having to have the combination.
Lots of good ways to secure this safe including a nice hidden cable system. There are mounting holes in the bottom that we used to anchor it down to the bottom sturdy shelf of a counter cabinet. So the vault is not only anchored well, it is also out-of-sight inside of a storage cabinet.
Nicely made device - better than expected - and good value too.

The security Safe is one of the BEST Safe's out there. You will never find such a good safe for a price like this. It is very easy to program. Really I have nothing to say bad about this product.
Just Buy it!!!

This is my second Sentry safe, and like the first I'm extremely pleased with it. I wanted an affordable security safe that would comfortably fit two laptops (a 14" and 15") and other assorted valuables and this one fits the bill. It's well designed, extremely sturdy and has an easy-to-operate electronic keypad (uses 4 AA batteries) that opens with your chosen security code. The electronic keypad can be overridden by included keys in case you forget the code or the batteries die. (I've had this safe for over 8 months and the batteries are still going strong) There's a metal shelf inside that can be removed to store bulkier items. The floor of the safe has a gray carpet-like liner. One of the things that sold me on this safe that it can easily store two average size laptops and still have room for other things. Many of the other safes in this price range couldn't even fit one 15" laptop. The safe can either be bolted to the floor or wall (with included hardware) or secured to another object with the included metal cord. Since this is a "security" safe, that means it isn't fireproof. While it's sturdy and well-built, professionals would probably find their way in. However, for the purposes of safeguarding your valuables from casual theft in the home, office, schools, college dorms, etc., this is an excellent safe that is durable and does the job well.

We purchased ours for our daughter's dorm room - laptop and other things fit nicely in it to just further sercure them when not there. she and her roommate share it.

My husband was looking for a safe to secure his documents. I found the sentrySafe X105,the price was right.It took 2 days to get here and instructions were sample to follow. We both love our safe!!
