Awesome Spotlight December 8, 2009 T. Rohlfing (Salem, Oregon) 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
I live on a farm and use a spotlight every night. This spotlight has been amazing. I used to have to recharge my last spotlight every night because it often died on me. My Cyclops is about half the size and I have been using it for over a month on the original charge!!! I really can't believe it. I would like to find a Cyclops with a little more power or throw for the really long distances, but this one has been awesome! Well worth the price!
This light is great for spotting critter from 150 to 200 yards out.
WOW! Very Bright and easy to use January 31, 2010 Leave Me Alone (home, usa) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is by far the best hand held spotlight that I've held. It is also very bright. The Lock feature is very useful so you don't have to hold the trigger to keep the light on. Great for outdoors in full mode and indoors in low mode. Can be a bit too bright indoors so I say set it to low. This unit is very difficult to buy elsewhere. They are mostly out of stock and the reason for that is because it is a great light.
Ensure that you give it a full charge at first... this could take up to 10 hrs. Yes, 10 hrs. After that one initial charge, your battery should give you a good amount of use. I have not recharged it and it's been 3 weeks with daily full mode use of about 10 minutes a day.
Very nice little spotlight December 15, 2009 Kenneth C. Monsey (Pennsylvania) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
My wife loves this little spotlight. It is very bright, lightweight, and easy to use - with a 'lock-on' feature when she wants it. She uses it when letting our dog out at night (in a rural area) to be sure that no strange animals are nearby. We have a tree line that is over 75 yards from our rear deck, and this light will easily show up any animal at that distance. I recharge it for her about once a month, just because I think I should, but the light has never really dimmed under her usage.
Fantastic, Light, Easy to Carry and Powerful April 21, 2010 The Eclectic Collector (Northridge, California, USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Originally looking to replace a rather large, bulky and ugly Brinkmann Q-Beam 1Million floodlight with a halogen bulb, I found this as a more compact, more modern and lighter fit. I couldn't determine the candlepower number. When I called the Amazon Product Information line, the rep told me that she thought it was 1.5 mill. But the longer lasting, brighter LED light power makes that rather irrelevant in comparison to the halogen lit counterparts.
As it will be used on rural property, this was the best light for the best features and money. Strong power that lasts MUCH LONGER than 10 minutes, not a burden to carry, and decently powerful. Plus, it comes with a car and wall charger.
And, if you're working what the red cover is / what's the point - this is best used for night hiking / non intrusive to the eyes lighting. If you're shining the light near or on an animal / human, it won't blind them with glare.
Overall, this light is fantastic and well worth it for a solution to illuminating dark areas of your property in an accessible manor.
*I can see this as being perfect for camping as well.
Amazing spotlight September 24, 2009 David L. Alford (Somewhere, Tasmania) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Very bright for size; beam goes out to several hundred yards. However, red lens really lowers intensity (which is the purpose) with a reduced effective range of perhaps 50 yds.
Love the LED attributes of longevity. Well made, excellent quality. Trigger lock very useful. No problems.
