Simple remote that works June 9, 2008 K. L. Gallaher (Bartlesville, OK USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
If your door opener can be controlled with a contact closure - and most can - you are in business. Easy to set up and install. The second button the remote can be set up to control a light or a second door (with additional hardware). the remote takes an unusual A23 battery - but both Amazon and Wal-mart sell it for less than a dollar so no problem.
Garage Door Remote Replacement February 7, 2007 J. L. Currie 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
When your remote quits, this product replaces it at minimal cost. It is easy to install and works as advertised. Very pleased with this purchase.
It just works, like it should. October 29, 2009 KickSaveDave (San Diego, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this in December 08, and its one of those rare products that simply works exactly like it should, reliably, every time. Its easy to install, its never failed to work properly, and the remote works from much farther away than the Homelink in our Honda Pilot does or the original remote that came with the antique Door Opener. The other nice thing is that if you move, simply remove it and bring it with you and install it into the new house, and there's no need to reprogram your Homelink.
Old Garage Door Opener Remote Control Made Easy February 1, 2010 James R. Knutsen (Stanwood, WA. USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was skeptical at first when I saw this product on Amazon, but decided to take a chance since the opener work well and I only wanted to add the remote control so my wife could park in the garage without needing to get out of the car. This is a great product! It took me less than 15 minutes to install and it works flawlessly. Don't hesitate to get one of these if your old remote system is dead.
Works as advertised December 26, 2007 Torrin Hultgren (Seattle, WA USA) Very easy to install with an ancient opener, good range, not the most sleek looking remote, but otherwise no complaints.
