I was a bit skeptical about this product... mainly because of some negative reviews of other Chamberlain driveway alarms. I purchased the cwa2000 because of its increased range. I have to say that I am delighted with its operation so far. I have not had a single false alarm, nor has it ever failed to alert me when someone pulls into the drive. The sensor is approx. 350 - 400 ft. from the base station, and sends the signal perfectly through light trees. I like it so much, in fact, that I bought another unit for my parents as a Christmas gift.

I have had this product for 6 weeks and I have been very pleased with it. It has worked perfectly.

I like these sensors, they are tiny enough not to be seen.
That is until there is movement and the light flashes when sending the alert to the base, it's very bright on a dark night.
The beep is the right volume for me at the base, and it is tiny too.
If you have batteries in the base you can carry it with you into another room if needed.

This product is just what I wanted...my husband & I each have a business in our home and we needed to know when someone entered our 60' driveway. We installed the sensor on our fence post at the entrance of the driveway angled a bit up the driveway, so we wouldn't pick up street traffic, and the receiver in our living room. How nice to know when someone is coming BEFORE they get to the door !!!!!!!!!!!!! The beep is plenty loud and OCCASIONALLY we get a beep from the wind or a car going by, but I'd rather look out the window and no one is there, than be surprised !!!!!! Would definately recommend this product...

I hope the folks at Chamberlain are reading this - i also had the 300r - it was really good but with 1,350 ft drive 90% accurate - the cwa2000 is much more capable and i actually love it very very much - the volume is too low for sure, but not as bad as reviews - - i agree that someone in board room has been delusional too long - or possibly their new engineer/marketer needs to return to earth - my specific question is whether anyone has adapted theirs for LOUD volume? - i have old 12v dc car alarm relay i saved and plan to solder the trip current wires to the speaker output terminals of the base unit - haven't looked at circuit board but sure it can be done fairly easily - if anyone can enlighten me on the subject or has attempted/succeeded i'd welcome your comments - especially if you're that stellar engineer - i bet the beancounter sold the low volume idea to the imbecile on the board anyway - ps, if you're from Chamberlain I promise to keep this info between us... jeff
